Who do you call when you have a team of sporting heroes in need of a spruce? Male grooming expert Chris Foster of course!
Chris, Creative Director at The Refinery in Mayfair, recently headed to the Marriott Hotel in Regents Park, London to give three of the West Indies cricket team a fresh new look.
Chris was contacted by the owners of Prestige Hair Extension Connoisseurs as their salon is based inside the hotel where the team were staying. Having seen him present at various events and knowing his skill and technique, they knew they needed a specialist like Chris to come and provide his services for the team members, as they are all very particular with their haircuts.
Chris spent the afternoon with the team, giving haircuts, beard trims, mini facials and massages to three of the players in total; Shane Dowrich, Kemar Roach and Roston Chase. The Captain Jason Holder also came along and although he didnโt get a haircut, watched Chris at work whilst quizzing him on his equipment and fading techniques. Jason was so impressed that he left with the promise that he would check out Chrisโs YouTube videos for a little barbering education of his own!
Chris says, โIt was a fantastic afternoon and the guys were absolutely lovely. It was really chilled, with many players popping in and sticking around to chat and hang out. It felt just like a Barber shop but with 5-star service!โ
